At VirtuaBroker, we’re continuing to strengthen the foundations of a secure, transparent and scalable payments infrastructure, and a key part of that is how we protect data.
We’re pleased to share that Privalex has been formally appointed and registered with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) as VirtuaBroker’s Data Protection Officer (DPO). A Data Protection Officer is responsible for overseeing how an organisation handles personal data and ensuring it meets its obligations under regulations such as the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This appointment reinforces our commitment to privacy, data protection and the trust of our clients and partners. As a company that moves money across borders and handles sensitive information, we treat strong data governance as fundamental to what we build.
